I have a love/hate relationship with new book orders. I absolutely LOVE getting my hands on these books that have been selected with such care and time. I LOVE scanning the summaries and thinking about all of the stories and characters that I will soon meet. But on the other hand, I HATE that I don't have the time to sit idly at my desk and jump right into each and every one. I HATE knowing that as much as I'd love to, there will be many of these gems that I'll never get the chance to crack open. Oh well, for now I will have to live vicariously through the students and staff members who get to (and through) them first!
